EdZoocation is a multiple visit conservation education program that uses the Cincinnati Zoo as a living classroom.
EdZoocation program brings the often-inaccessible natural world into the lives of urban youth who might otherwise lack a rich, personal connection with our living planet. In accordance with the National Science Education Standards, Ohio Science Academic Content Standards, and the Kentucky Core Content for Science, the program teaches third and fourth-grade students the concepts of habitat and adaptation through a multidisciplinary curriculum, including science, social studies, literature, creative writing, and art.
The EdZoocation program is made possible through generous funding from Toyota Manufacturing North America, Inc. The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden proudly acknowledges and expresses their appreciation for this valuable partnership.
Schools are invited to participate based on a pre-selection process.
